This album was my answer to some critics who thought I was a bit of a soft pop guy (which, of course I am!). Some good stuff here, but I'm not sure I convinced anyone I was a real rocker, although it certainly helped my live show to have these songs to mix into the stew, and it was a noble experiment. Appeared playing Kiss This One Goodbye on the last show of the original cast of Saturday Night Live, which was very emotional for everyone. Wild times.
