Laraine Newman (SNL) and I used to be an "item" (Never Let Her Slip Away was written about her!), and here we were on a great vacation with Peter Asher and his then girlfriend, Mackenzie Philips, who we all called "Laura" for some reason...lots of stray cats in Tahiti, it seemed.
