"Charlie Villiers and I were best friends for a long time in High School. I went to live with him and his parents for a year in '66. I was 15-16. He is now a very talented painter...VERY artistic. I often visit the old house we all lived in, on Holland St., in London. His sister and my old friend Janie Villiers still lives there. Hi, Janie! Villiers and Gold was my first record contract, on Polydor in London. We made one single. A great time in my life."
